Your profile – the WHO, the WHAT and the WHY |
Educational Background:
- 2011-present: Postdoctral fellow at University of Alberta
- 2006-2010: PhD, University of Miami (Advisor: Roger M. Leblanc)
- 2000-2005: BSc, MSc (Chemistry Hns.), Panjab University (Honors School), India
Research Interests: Chemistry at nanoscale can lead to better understanding of biological
processes. I am broadly interested in biosensing and biotechnology.
Research Objectives:
- Optimization of immobilization startegies on microcantilevers for biosensing.
- Self-assembly of molecules at the air-water interface for development of immobilization
strategies and learning interfacial processes.
- Investigating interaction of proteins with nanoparticles for inventing therapeutics and/or
diagnostic tools.
