2005 - Uni Nats, Montreal - Bears, (Undefeated)

Due to montrously formidable rains for 2 weeks prior to the tournament, Friday and Sunday play was cancelled for Uninats 2005. Our Bears did manage to get onto some water-soaked fields in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu for Saturday however. The Bears played 4 strong games through ever-deepening mud pits as the day went by. Fiery, determined, and poised play left the Bears undefeated at the end of the day culminating in an impressive universe-point win over the higher-seeded Chessclub from Carleton University. Mother Nature won this tournament however, assurring that no fields were available for play the following day and sending home many dissapointed ultimate teams. (But at the same time making way for a killer theres-no-games-tomorrow party on saturday night).
