CUUC?
Each October, interest permitting, the U of A Ultimate sends a competitive Women's team to compete in the Canadian University Ultimate Championships (CUUC).

This three-day tournament is held each autumn by the Canadian Ultimate Players' Association (CUPA) to allow the best Ultimate players from universities across the nation to meet, share a challenging athletic experience and compete in spirited play. The caliber of play and level of sportsmanship displayed at CUUC makes it comparable to a CIS championship.

2010 University of Alberta Ultimate Fall Season!

The U of A Ultimate Club will be holding practices open to anybody and everybody that is interested learning the sport and taking their ultimate to a new level. Through practices we hope to develop a Women's team that will compete in the Canadian University Ultimate Championships.

Practices are Monday and Thursday from 5:30-7:30 pm at Hawrelak Park starting September 9, 2010.

Just to be clear, regardless of your skill level you are welcome to join our practices; whether attending the U of A or not, if you are interested in attending nationals or just want to try something new. If you've barely ever touched a disc before but want to check out the sport, come on out! Or, if you're a grizzled veteran of ultimate and want to get back into the game you're also welcome! The season will start in early September and end around mid-late October.
