Youth at Alberta and Northwest Conference needs Leaders
Conference ANW conference will meet Wednesday May 30 to Sunday June 3rd 2012 at SAIT in Calgary.
Youth at Conference meets paralell to the conference participating and having it's own program. It is a wonderful experience of this court of the United Church of Canada at work.

This is a fun and educational way to serve homeless people in Edmonton and learn about the issues they face in their everyday lives.
Their purpose: "The Mustard Seed Edmonton seeks to address homelessness and poverty by building authentic relationships through community-building programs and services. Together with the community, The Mustard Seed Edmonton is helping individuals develop their God-given potential and purpose in Christ."
A few united Churches in the area have paid youth ministry positions and others have volunteer opportunities on Sunday mornings to work with children or youth. Some congregations have volunteer bands leading music in worship regularly. All United Churches in the area welcome singers in their choirs.

Each year the campus food bank has regular events to glean food for hungry students and their families. You can volunteer at the food bank regularly during the week. To do this please go to their website http://campusfoodbank.com/
Yearly students and friends from Faith Lift volunteer at the Annual Campus Food Bank Trick or Eat which gathers food (and candy) in the local neighbourhoods. This year the food drive will happen... Oct 31 as always! Contact the chaplain if you want to be part of a Faith Lift Team. 780 492 4621.
