Student Chaplain

 

Each year United Church students are encouraged to make a proposal  
       to the Faith Lift Advisory Team . 

The proposal includes project proposal(s)
       and leadership goals as a Student Chaplain with Faith Lift.

Applications or inquiries should be sent to uccm@ualberta.ca  
       in April - May each year.

Kelsey Earle is the student chaplain for 2012-13

A graduate of  the University of Alberta Kelsey is taking a year to do course work in preparation for post graduate studies. She will be promoting the chaplaincy and participating in the Revisioning of Faith Lift Campus Ministry and learning how to facilitate discussion groups with students. 

Peter Janz is our student chaplain for 2011-12

 Peter has been a student at Grant MacEwan and has worked at the U of A for several years. This year he is testing a call to ministry as he leads a Faith and Spirituality Discussion group with students.  Peter is a man  committed to living his faith in his everyday life. Having grown up in the Anglican tradition and having travelled widely he brings a unique experience and perspective to conversations.
