Yes I Can! Science The York University Educational Science Project provides strong scientific resources with "easy-to use", "easy-to-understand" demonstrations and explanations.

SCORE Science From the Schools of California Online Resources for Education, this is a great resource for teachers and students. The 'Kids Corner' has many activities, and the 'Teachers Place' has a lessons database, collaborative projects, and links. Also has an 'Ask a Scientist' section.

Scott's Science and Math Room This is a well-organized resource site, taking you to useful places on the web.

The Franklin Institute Online This Science Museum from Pennsylvania has many online learning activities and investigations for all areas of science.

How Stuff Works

Statistics Canada Learning Resources Statistics Canada actively supports education in Canada by developing and offering easy access to a wide variety of statistical products and services which have been specifically designed for students and teachers. Lots of teaching resources here (all subjects), using Canadian information.

Science Links Called 'Cool and Useful Student Resources', this site is intended to provide high school students with guidance when searching the Internet for information. It is also a good place for teachers to visit since it contains a long list of science links for all areas of science. Each site is described and rated.

Frank Potter's Science Gems Frank Potter is a physicist who maintains this site of Great links to Great Science Resources. His well-organized categories and subcategories make this site easy to navigate. This site contains thousands of categorized science links.

Educational Resources in Science This site from the Community Learning Network contains: curricular resources (information/explanations for students and teachers wishing to learn more about science); instructional materials (lesson plans and teaching tips/ideas for science teachers); and theme pages (curricular resources as well as instructional materials on specific scientific topics). It is easy to navigate.
