Winter 2016
Kristen Côté: Optical phase stabilization for Raman-dressed potentials (Phys 499)
Fall 2015
M-X (Ketty) Na: Optical transport of cold atoms (Phys 499)
Christian Prosko: Evaporative Cooling of 87Rb with Microwave Radiation (Phys 499)
We're always seeking highly qualified people to join the laboratory. See Positions page for details regarding Postdoctoral, Graduate, and Undergraduate Student opportunities on two projects:
1) Quantum simulations of many body physics: To study the non-equilibrium behaviour of quantum gas mixtures, especially under the influence of artificial gauge fields. Candidates with interest or experience in atomic physics are especially encouraged to apply.
2) Hybrid quantum systems: To design and implement a system that incorporates ultracold quantum gases and solid state quantum devices through atom chip technologies. Candidates with interest or experience in quantum device fabrication are especially encouraged to apply.
