Information for prospective graduate students

If you are a student looking for a potential supervisor for graduate studies, don't hesitate to send me an e-mail to inquire about my availability. You should have an interest in algebra, but you don't need any previous knowledge of Lie theory or representation theory. You can click on the Research tab on the left to learn more about my area of research. You can also come talk to me if you are considering going to graduate school and would like to discuss this option with a professor.

More information about our graduate programs, including how to apply and financial support, can be found here.

If you are a very good student at the University of Alberta interested in graduate studies, you should apply for an NSERC Postgraduate Scholarship - see here. The deadline is usually in early October. If you are interested in algebra and need advice about applying, don't hesitate to come talk to me.
