A Day in Sendai and a Night in Ishinomaki

This was my first trip to Sendai, the capital of Miyagi prefecture. The city was brightly decorated for the annual tanabata festival so there were lots of interesting things to see. In the evening we returned to Ishinomaki for yet another amazing Japanese fireworks display.
