The compilation methodology of data sources is threefold and subdivides on the basis of information needs. The data sources provide information that helps in determining how the BSJ's external and internal community affects and relates to the library. The survey of primary and secondary users, literature scanning, and the interviewing of the BSJ's head librarian supply the necessary data.
