High speed video of GMAW with a cored nickel tungsten-carbide wire on the CCWJ’s droplet temperature measurement apparatus. The apparatus involves a copper pipe with a hole that allows an arc to be sustained but also for weld droplets to fall onto a solid-state calorimeter below.
