Program Manager

Rishiekesh Ramgopal

Rishiekesh (Rishie) Ramgopal is the CCWJ’s Program Manager, inaugerating into the roll in 2025 after having previously worked as a MITACS Research Intern with the Centre in 2019 and earning his Masters with the Centre from 2021-2024. He is also an Advisor for the University of Alberta AWS/CWBA Student Chapter. As Program Manager, Rishie leads the launch of the Centre’s newest initiative: the Canadian Cluster for Laser and ADvanced Manufacturing (C:CLAD); a Cluster focused on laser and advanced manufacturing in Alberta. He is also responsible for managing research projects and fostering industry partnerships.

Outside of his work, Rishie enjoys skiing, backpacking, and has an interest in F1 Racing.
