Kathryn Craig

Chemical Engineering
Kathryn Craig is an undergraduate student at the University of Alberta studying towards a BSc in Chemical Engineering. Interested in the CCWJ’s work focusing on 3D printing parts for industry, she currently works with our Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) researchers and creates thermal simulations.

Samson Nellickappillil

Chemical Engineering
Samson Nellickappillil is an undergraduate Chemical Engineering co-op student at the University of Alberta who joined the CCWJ in 2023. His work supports research in Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) of P91 steel, a widely used alloy with important applications in Alberta’s energy sector. He is involved in hands-on microscopy and materials characterization to better understand how processing conditions influence material properties.
