Professor Bita Fallahi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta. Her work lies at the intersection of biomedical engineering and control systems, with a special focus on magnetically actuated continuum robots and robot-assisted medical procedures. She earned her BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering from K.N. Toosi University of Technology and now leads projects in image-guided needle steering and control of medical robots.
