The Chemical and Materials Engineering Department at the University of Alberta is holding its 5th Annual Graduate Research Symposium on May 21, 2009.
The Graduate Research Symposium (GRS) is a one-day event that showcases innovative research conducted by graduate students in the department. Our theme this year is 'New challenges, Novel Solutions'. Over 300 representatives from academia and industry attended last year's symposium; and we anticipate an even stronger attendance this year.
This Symposium offers our guests an excellent opportunity to learn first-hand about some of the research being conducted by our graduate students - from surface and interfacial science to advanced materials and process control; we are exploring exciting opportunities to inject novel solutions into research and innovation.
