1st Engineering Graduate Students’ Career Fair
 
 
The Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering (CME) at the University of Alberta is holding the 1st Engineering Graduate Students’ Career Fair in conjunction with the 5th annual CME Graduate Research Symposium (GRS) on May 21st 2009.
 
The event is intended for all students in the master’s and PhD programs within the Faculty of Engineering. At least 300-400 student are expected to attend the career fair which will be held in Engineering Teaching and Learning Centre at the University of Alberta.

Audience: Over 300 Chemical and Materials Engineering graduate students seeking full-time, part-time, and internship positions in the areas of Advanced Materials, Process Control and Systems Engineering, Nano and Regenerative Medicine, Surface and Interfacial Science, and Natural and Energy Resources. In addition, guests industry as well as from other Engineering departments – Civil & Environmental, Mechanical, and Electrical & Computer are expected as are graduate students from the Faculty of Science.
 
Promotional Opportunities: In addition to meeting a large number of graduate students face-to-face, organizations will have the opportunity to highlight their available employment opportunities, to position their company as an employer of choice with our current graduate students, and to gain positive exposure to a select group of potential job applicants.
