Keynote Speakers
This year’s symposium has the honour of having two highly recognized professionals as keynote speakers:
Alan E. Fair, a geological engineer, is currently the Manager of Research and Development at Syncrude. As such, he is responsible for both the technical direction and overall management of all research and development activities at Syncrude. Read more
Stefan Bachu is currently Principal Scientist for CO2 Storage at the Alberta Research Council (ARC). As a lead author of the Chapter 5 on CO2 Geological Storage of the IPCC Special Report on CO2 Capture and Storage, he co-shares the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize awarded to IPCC. Read more
