| Dr. Terry Carson is Professor of the Department of Secondary Education. Prior to joining the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta in 1982, Terry was with the public school system in the province of Newfoundland. While in Newfoundland he was a high school teacher of history, a social studies department head, and a curriculum supervisor with the Port au Port Roman Catholic School Board. Since coming to the university, he has co-authored or edited four books, contributed 10 book chapters, as well as a number of refereed and non-refereed publications. Research interests include: peace education, action research, teacher education, curriculum theory, cultural studies, international education, citizenship education, psychoanalytic theory. |  |
