In order to learn HTML and create this web page, I relied mostly on Writing HTML: a tutorial for creating WWW pages.
My web site is entitled The Silver Age of Russian Poetry. It provides an introduction to late nineteenth and early twentieth century Russian poetry. This era has been dubbed the Silver Age because it was a time when poetry enjoyed a resurgence of popularity in Russia after the prosaic realism of such famous authors as Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky. I have an M.A. in Russian literature and am enjoying relearning and learning more about these poets and their writings, and discovering what other people in cyberspace have to say about them. My site includes several of my own attempts at translation. It is still under construction. I will add the URL here when it is finished.
