Up until this page I have done little or no direct instruction, most of the classes whole group conversations have been students reporting on what they have found facilitated by me. It was now time to formalize what we have been exploring and time to give these students some of the terminology that they have been without up until now. What I found most interesting is that now that there was a need for the words the students accepted and used them more readily. I though that this would also be a good time to introduce a new method for naming the sides of right angle triangles.
