1.Prepare data in consistent format suitable for unavariate analysis such as in SAS, multivariate analysis such as in PC ord, and spacial interpretation in programs such as Arch GIS.
2. Using appropriately formatted data from 30 separate experiments stratified by Clonal, Hybrid, and Provenance explore relationship between region of material collection and location of experimental sites (genotype by environment).
3. Expectation is preliminary analysis will provide direction for more in-depth study to quantify the limits to which plant movement can take place. Ultimately support recommendations to change current reforestation policy on plant movement within Alberta.
