Victoria Longitudinal Study (VLS)

Role: Director and Principal Investigator

Overview: A long-term (20+ years) and large-scale longitudinal and epidemiological investigation of biomedical, health, genetic, metabolic, lifestyle, and environmental risk and protective factors influencing human brain and cognitive aging.

Canadian Consortium on Neurodegeneration in Aging (CCNA)

Roles: Co-Lead Biomarkers Team and Platform

 

Overview: Cross national observational study of older adults with multiple types of complaints, impairment, or dementia.

 

Biomarker Data: Includes clinical, MRI imaging, biospecimens, cognitive, neurophysiological, and other measures.

 

Cohorts: Cohorts include Subjective Cognitive Impairment, Mild Cognitive Impairment, Subcortical Ischemic Vascular Disease, Mild Alzheimer's Disease, Mixed Dementia, Lewy Body Parkinson's Disease, and Frontotemporal Dementia.
