Magnetotelluric signals from magnetic field resonances
The sinusoidal curve has a period close to 20 seconds and is generated by a resonance
in the ionosphere. This gives good penetration from 2-10 km. These signals are often generated
at sunset. The small spikes are distant lightning strokes
