Student Digital Collaboration Studio
(This page is regularly updated with new information and was last updated 5 June 2008) The Student Digital Studio (SDS) located In Telus Centre 131/133. Funded by the Office of the Provost (IT), SDS is a new resource for students interested in creating digital media projects. Over time the SDCS will support collaborative learning activities that may involve teams sharing applications through sophistical collaborative software. SDS is an informal learning space where students can learn and experiment with multimedia and educational technologies in a flexible environment. The space will be able to be booked by students on a short-term basis for specific activities. The PCs in this space can be booked online via: http://www.vpit.ualberta.ca/booking/facility/ At present the studio contains the following: Hardware:4 IBM PCs with 500GB hard drives, video cards, monitor, DVD player and recorder, Windows XP
