How to Join

  1. On spie.org, hover over Membership and select Join or Renew from Student Members.
  2. If you do not have a SPIE.org account, click create an SPIE.org account.
  3. Fill in the electronic form to create your account. When you make your account you will have the option of joining the University of Alberta Student Chapter. The membership fee is $20.00 for one year.
  4. You are now a member of SPIE, and your name will show up on our chapter roster!

Associate Member:

Want to participate in fun events, work on team projects, attend guest lectures and get updates from Slack or the mailing list? Do any of the above and you'll be an associate member!

General Member:

Get all the perks of being an associate member plus more! The general membership fee is $20.00 for one year and it's definitely worth it. Here's what you get for joining:
