Regarding anything related to the club, please feel free to email us.
Email List: 
This will give you access to the club mailing list (provided you are a club member). If you are a member and are not on the mailing list, use the first email address to tell us. Please follow these guidelines
to reduce spamming poeples inboxs. We have removed the need to filter all emails coming through so please behave and use common sense.
- Do:
- Try and orginize your own event (e.g. climbing, camping, backpacking)
- Try to sell outdoors related items (e.g. chalk bag, sleeping bag)
- Promote events or activities that are related to the outdoors (e.g. seminars, awareness meetings)
- Do Not:
- Waste poeples time or fill their inbox with blank emails, birthday invitations or comments
- Try to sell non outdoors related items (e.g. Dixie Chicks tickets, printer)
Facebook Group:
We now have our own Facebook group listed under "University of Alberta Outdoors Club". Use it to meet people, upload pictures, chat with fellow members, and plan trips.
Join the Club:
Prices are $10 for students and $15 for non-students.
As a member you will get:
- The opportunity to come on our trips
- Free use of our club gear
- Added to out mailing list so you can hear about events and anything we feel our membership would be interested in.
- Be able to post outdoors related messages to all members on our list.
Office Hours for Winter 2008:
Come over to our office in SUB room 616 to sign up for trips, rent equipment or hang out with your favourite exec.
We are closed weekends and holidays. Here are our guaranteed office hours. Feel free to drop by the office though when it is not these times, as we are often there.

Please be patient as our executive are students and volunteers. So if they are a few minutes late or leave early then please understand that they have classes to be at. If you plan on making a special trip to come see us in the office, I would recommend sending off an email beforehand so we can make sure someone can meet you. If you cannot make it to any of the posted hours, send us off an email and we can meet you some other time.
