Welcome to the Centre for Design of Advanced Materials (CDAM) at the University of Alberta. Our group pursues collaborative and multi-disciplinary projects, involving world-wide partners from academia, industry, and government laboratories. Our research interests are primarily in the microstructure-based design of materials for use as structural components in extreme environments.
