Portable hand vane

The vane shown in the photograph has been developed by PHRI aiming at assessing the shear strength of model ground at 1 G. Vane test is performed by rotating the vane with hand, and thus the asset of vane tests using this portable hand vane is its ease and convenience. The vane blades of various sizes and aspect ratios are available to set the tip of the shaft.
