Together as a class we now compile what all of the groups of Triangle Partners have discovered into our own trigonometry table. This activity also allows us to reinforce the new vocabulary that we just learned. This is an important activity because we will be using this chart for the next day or two while we look at solving right angle triangle questions.

I have found that by using a trig table my students concentrate on the concepts being studied rather than the calculator. Eventually some students move to using a calculator but at least half of my students chose to continue to use a fuller version of a trig table that I provided for them.
