This is a simulation and visualization tool for pulley systems.
To move the pulleys, click and drag the white circle at the end of the rope.
The INPUT section contains additional controls for the simulation.
The forces depicted by the red arrows assume that the pulley system is stationary and that the pulleys and ropes are weightless.
In the equations, L
variables are lengths of rope, and R
variables are total lengths of a ropes red dimensions. Both of these variables are constant.
