P-ONE is a new experiment proposed for the Pacific Ocean. P-ONE stand for Pacific Ocean Neutrino Experiment.
P-ONE is a small collaboration with members in Germany, the U. S. and Canada. Our group leads aspects of the development of a large new ocean based neutrino telescope together with ONC, the Ocean Networks Canada research facility in Victoria, B. C.
Our students are working on analysing data from the exisitng test setup, they are testing new ideas for particle reconstruction and optimize the geometry of the new detector.
The Canadian groups on P-ONE are responsible for the trigger systems of P-ONE, my students are leading the efforts to develop these systems.
