The Eudora software program is an efficient and simple program to configure. The fact that it is possible to acquire this product as a Freeware program makes it extremely economical for any one who seeks access to e-mail capapbilities for their computer. The drawback with Eudora is that it is only applicable to those who only want e-mail. Netscape is an alternative to this by incorporating e-mail, newshandling, and web browsing together. The demands are greater in terms of memory and overhead but if you are looking for more then e-mail Netscape is a better program. Eudora can send and receive mail, compose e-mail, forward e-mail to other people, acquire files from off the Net, and let one send and receive compressed files. Other useful features of Eudora include management of your e-mail by creating mailboxes to keep your mail in, folders to store mail boxes, and sort any incoming mail in the various mailboxes established. In addition to these features there are others which allow one to assign nicknames to make a directory of long e-mail addresses and allows one to attach files. Sean J. Barr MLIS Student @ UofA
