Partners

Collaborations with industry, government and academic organizations along with their guidance and contributions have been instrumental for meaningful and successful student training and research work. Since assuming responsibility of the research group in 2006, Dr. Mertiny has supervised over 60 undergraduate, graduate and visiting students and post-doctoral fellows. Collaborations with our partners have provided mutual benefits by providing student training and research opportunities, exchange of scientific information, and knowledge transfer to industries in Alberta, Canada and around the world. Our partners participate in the group’s activities by engaging on an intellectual level as well as by providing support in the form of funding, equipment, raw materials, processing and technical assistance. The contributions by our current and past partners are gratefully acknowledged.
