The purpose of Graduate Research Symposium at the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering is to showcase and celebrate the research done by our graduate community. The first symposium was held in 2005, and it is held every year at middle spring. Year after year, the symposium has grown and consolidate itself as one of the main events in our deparment annual calendar.
With over 40 posters, nine student speakers, and more than 300 attendees, last year symposium set up a participation record. As the graduate student community continue expanding, this year we are expecting a greater participation.
