Greatly known for his introductory book to chemical process control, Dr. George Stephanopoulos holds the A.D. Little Professor of Chemical Engineering position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This year Dr. Stephanopoulos will be our Keynote Speaker during the CME GRS.
George got his Diploma from the National Technical University of Athens, his M.E. degree from McMaster University, and his PhD from the University of Florida, all in Chemical Engineering. With a life-long interest in process control, current research of Dr. Stephanopoulos includes: Design of self-assembled systems for nanostructured processes, bioinformatics and systems biology, and multi-scale systems in estimation and control.
