About Us
Formerly known as the Federation of Asian Students (FAS), it was established in 1996 as a non-profit organization to unite University of Alberta's South East Asian Students. A few years later, its name was officially changed to South East Asian Students Association or SEASA.

Goals
SEASA's missions are to help members in all aspects in order to adapt in a Canadian environment and to encourage and provide a platform for exchanging diverse South East Asian cultures through many educational, social, recreational, and cultural events throughout the year.Whether you are interested in the association or South East Asian culture in general, SEASA encourages anyone to join, regardless of race, gender, or nationality. SEASA also aims to develop social interactions amongst the South East Asian students and communities at both the national and international levels.
What's Exciting?Every year, SEASA has one major cultural event to promote cultural awareness amongst students and the Edmonton community. In May 2004, SEASA held a South East Asian Cultural Night featuring cultural performances from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Philippines, in addition to traditional appetizers from respective countries.
This year, SEASA is planning to organize a South East Asian Food Festival featuring delicacies from various South East Asian countries.
