NEW DATES - August 16-19, 2025!!!

Apologies: We were forced to change the dates due to the G7 meeting in Banff National Park in mid-June 2025.

IMPORTANT DATES:
Special Session and Tutorial proposals due: March 17, 2025

Proposals for Special Sessions aiming at fundamentals, algorithms, and innovative applications of fuzzy sets and soft computing are welcome. When submitting a proposal, please provide a brief description of the session and its relevance to the IFSA-NAFIPS Joint Congress; this will be published on the website if the proposal is accepted. Special sessions will be open to all participants. Organizers of Special Sessions will be involved in a reviewing process.

Additionally, to the description, a proposal should include
- the special session title;
- organizers' names, affiliations, email addresses, and their web pages;
- a short biography of the organizers.

If you are interested in proposing a special session, please submit your proposal via the following form.

We invite proposals for Tutorials that focus on the fundamentals and applications of fuzzy sets and soft computing. When submitting your proposal, please include a brief description of the tutorial's objectives, the topics that will be covered, and the intended audience. These tutorials will be open to all participants.

If you are interested in proposing a tutorial, please submit your proposal via the following form.

  • fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic
  • mathematical foundations of fuzzy sets and fuzzy systems
  • approximate reasoning, fuzzy inference models, and soft computing
  • fuzzy decision analysis, decision making, optimization, and design
  • fuzzy system architectures and hardware
  • fuzzy methods in data analysis, statistics and imprecise probability
  • fuzzy databases and information retrieval
  • fuzzy pattern recognition and image processing
  • fuzzy sets in management science
  • fuzzy control and robotics
  • possibility theory
  • fuzzy sets and logic in ontology, web, and social networks
  • fuzzy preference modelling
  • fuzzy sets in operations research and manufacturing
  • fuzzy database mining and financial forecasting
