Banff City

It is a resort town within Banff National Park which is located 126 km west of Calgary and 58 km east of Lake Louise. Banff is well known for its hot springs and mountainous surroundings. You might meet wildlife the historic Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and Golf Course are, the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, art galleries, sporting goods stores, and shops.

Lake Louise

It is located 5 km west of the Hamlet of Lake Louise and Highway 1 and The famous Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is located on the edge of this magnificent body of water colored turquoise by runoff from the glacier high in the mountains. Visitors can hike around the lake or canoe its waters.

Icefields Parkway

Banff National Park

Banff National Park is Canada's oldest national park, established in 1885 as Rocky Mountains Park. Located in Alberta's Rocky Mountains, west of Calgary, Banff encompasses mountainous terrain, with many glaciers and ice fields, dense coniferous forest, and alpine landscapes. Provincial forests and Yoho National Park are neighbours to the west, while Kootenay National Park is located to the south and Kananaskis Country to the southeast.

Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology

The Royal Tyrrell Museum is housing of the world’s largest displays of dinosaurs which is located in Drumheller in Alberta’s badlands (3 hours from Edmonton). In addition the Museum offers a wide variety of creative, fun, and educational programs that bring the prehistoric past to life. Dinosaur fossils are unearthed in Dinosaur Provincial Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
