Science Council (ATA) Courtesy of the Science Council of Alberta Teachers' Association, here are some curriculum links and other useful resources for science teachers. The sites are categorized by subject and grade.

Edmonton Regional Consortia "Adult Learning for Students' Sake". The ERC creates professional development opportunities. This site features: online tutorials to help teachers with databases, spreadsheets, multimedia, mind mapping/graphic organizers, and internet tools/collaborative projects; and project ideas for integration of technology in the classroom.

National Association of Biology Teachers Strives to empower educators to provide the best possible biology and life science education for all students. Publishes 'The Biology Teacher'.

National Science Foundation An independent agency of the US government to promote the progress of science and to advance national health. You'll find news stories here.

National Science Teachers Organization NSTA maintains a content-rich website that provides classroom resources, news and information, and opportunities for educators to connect with one another.

American Association for the Advancement of Science AAAS conducts many projects to improve science literacy for all ages and backgrounds, focusing on both the community and the classroom. Website contains resources for teachers. Publishes Science Education News six times a year.
