Resource libraries
provide teachers with new innovative ideas on which to base lessons.
The purpose of this assignment is two-fold; first to develop a base
of resources for the science curriculum, and second to expose you
to a variety of excellent sources to find science teaching resources.
Assignment
Details
You will organize
10 different resources into a database. It will be up to the class
to define the fields for each record. At a minimum each record should
contain the following:
Curriculum fit
- Resource
title
- Full bibliographical
information
- Type of resource
(web site, newspaper article, book, etc)
- Location
(where can the resource be found)
- Description
of the resource
- Suggestions
for use of the resource
You will send
your resource file as an attachment to the WebBoard conference.
