Sample Field Trip Suggestions

Instructions

Each student will investigate a field trip activity for some aspect of the science curriculum. Prepare a one-page handout for the class that includes the following information:

  • Curriculum fit
  • Description of the facility where the field trip will take place
  • Describe the activities students would be engaged in at the site.
  • How would you follow up on the field trip?
  • Why is this a worthwhile excursion?
