Rawle brings a wealth of knowledge and over 35 years experience to the department based on his clinical skills, administrative knowledge and research expertise. His varied and extensive career has allowed him to work in several capacities: as a general staff nurse, a psychiatric staff nurse, a unit manager, nursing supervisor, tutor, family therapist, health educator and clinical researcher.

The past 8 years has been devoted to the research industry, working for 6 years as a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) in Psychopharmacology International Human Subject Clinical Drug Studies, phase 2 and phase 3 Clinical Trials, focusing in developing new drugs for people with psychiatric disorders. As a researcher in International studies, during his many travels he has met some of the leading scientists, professors, psychiatrists and researchers from around the world, including the co-chairman of the World Health Organization in Psychiatry. During the past 3 years he has been involved in Investigator-driven clinical research, in leading edge technology with Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), developing the MRI as a tool to help in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders. He holds the unique professional, international designation as a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP). Rawle is so passionate about research that he is currently pursuing a MSc in Clinical Research Administration.
