Microwave/Millimeter-wave (M2M) Lab.

In our lab, we can fully characterize any electronic device from DC up to 110 GHz either on wafer or packaged. Our lab has recently been awarded up to $1M of CFI funding for RF characterization equipment and field measurement. We have multiple network analyzers up to 6GHz, 26GHz, 40GHz, and 110GHz that allow narrowband and wideband characterization at high frequencies and oscilloscopes for lower frequencies. M2M lab also includes other characterization equipment such as an RF probe station, spectrum analyzer, Faraday cage, and other electronic equipment for a wide variety of electronic experiments. We are fully equipped for every situation, allowing for a full understanding of any RF to millimeter-wave device and system.

Our group workspace is located in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Research Facility (ECERF) at the University of Alberta. More ...

Micro/Nanotechnology Facilites

We are actively utilizing the micro- and nano-technology facilites that are located in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, including the nanoFab, which is a leading research-class fabrication facility.
