Accommodations
Delegates should make accommodation arrangements on their own using their favorite travel agency or on-line travel booking service.
A hotel at a short walking distance away from the venue is the Campus Tower Suite Hotel.
The conference venue is located nearby a Light Rail Transit (LRT) station (Health Sciences Ctr Station shown in the map) allowing easy access to the numerous hotels in the downtown core. The downtown core is located North-East of the University of Alberta campus, across the North Saskatchewan river (travel on LRT from Health Sciences Ctr Station in the direction "Clareview"). Some examples of downtown hotels are: Sutton Place, Delta Edmonton Centre, The Westin Edmonton, The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, Coast Edmonton Plazza, Union Bank Inn, Days Inn Edmonton Downtown, Holiday Inn Express Downtown Edmonton, Comfort Inn and Suites, Chateau Lacombe, Courtyard Edmonton Downtown, and The Matrix Hotel.
Another, smaller, cluster of hotels (Varscona Hotel on Whyte, Metterra Hotel on Whyte, etc.), is located on and around Whyte Avenue, a 20-30 minute walk East-South-East of the conference venue.
Inexpensive "dorm style" accommodations (as well as a few regular hotel suite units) are available via the University of Alberta Accommodation Services in the same building complex as the conference venue.
