Jasper Trip
On its annual trip this summer, INDSA organized a weekend break to Jasper National Park, AB. With its thorough itinerary, the trip covered the major hot spots: Maligne Canyon, Maligne Lake, Pyramid Lake, Lake Beauvert, Athabasca Falls and also intelligently blended in rafting on the Athabasca River and the beautiful Columbian Ice Fields. Loaded with lots of fun and a variety of treats, the idea of being ‘closer to the nature’ was heighted with the night stay in camping cabins. A free spirited sojourn, the trip very well distinguished the raw spirit of being in the breathtaking Jasper National Park.

Independence Day
On 15th August, INDSA celebrated Independence Day in the 'SUBstage'. Packed with song and dance performances from different cultures, the event was a hit. With the cheering of the crowd and the grace of the performers, and a special 'samosa' and 'laddu' treat at the end, it marked the successful beginning of a new year with new execs.

Freshers' Welcome
The evening of 23rd September, 2012 is going to be crazy. To welcome the newcomers at UofA, INDSA is arranging a welcome ceremony embellished with rocking music and dance performances, cool games and of course, food and fun. Dinwoodie Lounge is gonna witness the first INDSA event of Fall 2012-13. It will be a night to remember!

Diwali
The evening of November 10th observed the biggest event of the year - Diwali. Everyone was dressed up in dazzling traditional dresses. The evening was cladded with a multitude of performances and the main event - Fashion show. People from different countries enjoyed Indian cuisine at dinner and in the end there was open dance floor for everybody!!

Cricket Tournament
Here's INDSA with their first event of 2013. 12 teams...1 winner. Teams will be fighting to their way of pride and glory. It's our favourite game of cricket. We don't care if it's snow outside. David tuckey's Gym will be our playground and fans will be cheering for their teams. Exciting prizes will be there for the champions.
