2000/2001
Club Schedule
Last year was a time for many firsts for the club including the debut of
our video-camera workshops, a film-industry seminar, getting many club members involved in
club movie projects, and a trip to Calgary for a tour of a production studio. This year we
want to build on the previous year’s success with the following tentative schedule:
First Term
| First General Meeting | Wed., Sept. 20 @ 5PM in the SUB Function Room |
| Local Exposure Project Meeting | Wed., Sept. 27 @ 4PM in the Film Zone Office 0-40T, SUB (basement of SUB in the Student Groups area) |
| First Movie Screening - Being John Malkovich |
CANCELLED - Unfortunately, had to be cancelled, due to prohibitive costs. The AV fees jumped from 25$ for the whole night, to 80$ an HOUR, making our screening impossible. We're looking into making it work for the next one, but any input or ideas as to other ways we could hold this screening, ie other places (cheaply), would be greatly appreciated- so, pipe up dudes! |
