"Top Ten" films/videos selected for Misfit

The judging committee for the U of A Film Zone’s second annual Misfit Short Film & Video Festival has chosen the "Top Ten" videos to be screened on Saturday May 1st. The judging committee is made up of the following: ten year practicing media artist Lisa Trofimova, U of A Film Studies department head Dr. Bill Beard, The Gateway entertainment editior (98-99) Karen Liebel, AMPIA award winner Darrel Trueman, and owner of Multimedia Communications Inc. Bryce Volk. The judges opted for a change to one of the categories for the festival to include an award for Judges’ Choice. Consequently, one award was dropped from the list – Best International entry.
