Dear Donna Laframboise: [The key point is below]--->

I am sorry to be responding to you so late; however, our meeting today has

been quite long and tiring.  Ultimately, the Board of the Edmonton Chapter

of ECMAS voted on three motions:

Text of Motion #1) As the Board of the Edmonton Chapter of ECMAS, we should

accept the resignation of [Tim] Adams as Vice President of the Edmonton

Chapter of ECMAS.

Results of Motion #1) [Tim] Adams' resignation as Vice President of the

Edmonton Chapter of ECMAS was accepted.

Text of Motion #2) As the Board of the Edmonton Chapter of ECMAS, we should

suspend [Tim] Adams as a member of the Edmonton Chapter of ECMAS.

Results of Motion #2) The motion to suspend [Tim] Adams as a member of the

Edmonton Chapter of ECMAS was not passed.

--->

Text of Motion #3) As the Board of the Edmonton Chapter of ECMAS, we should

suspend Ferrel Christensen as a member of the Edmonton Chapter of ECMAS for

a period of three months and in this time investigate whether his views

conflict with the guiding principles and policies of E.C.M.A.S.

Results of Motion #3) There were two irregularities in the voting for this

issue and the board will need to reconvene to vote on this motion again.[Back]

Please note that ECMAS is an organization that deals with people who have

been falsely accused.  The Board of the Edmonton Chapter of ECMAS has strong

reason to believe that some of the information that you provided to me (and

Michael Laberge) regarding [Tim] Adams was incorrect. The Board of the

Edmonton Chapter of ECMAS also has strong reason to believe that there were

statements that you made to me (and Michael Laberge) about Ferrel

Christensen's book that were are also erroneous.  The Board of the Edmonton

Chapter of ECMAS also understands that these incorrect statements may

constitute libel or slander. [With such emphatic statements as this one from the ECMAS-Edmonton president, the reporter can hardly claim to have misunderstood the situation. (Her suppression of everything said in opposition to her, including everything by him, has already been noted repeatedly here.) Just as she had done with his previous email to her, she didn't ask him any questions on, or even respond to anything in, this one by him.] [Back]

I have reason to believe that details of [Tim] Adams' conviction was not as

you had described to me and that it occurred about four years ago, before he

became involved with ECMAS.  I am told that in the last two years, Mr. Adams

has donated an incredible amount of time to help out with our support group

and has been an extremely valuable resource for people who have been

victimized by the biased divorce system.  In our board recent meeting, the

Board of the Edmonton Chapter of ECMAS has passed a motion to suggest new

changes to our bylaws which would need to be voted on and ratified by our

members.  The changes to our bylaws would include a new bylaw that would

rule that before any future election all nominations would need to be

submitted to the current board at least one month before the election and

that all nominees would be required to indicate any previous criminal

convictions to the board.  The board would then determine whether these

convictions were serious enough to reject any nominee from running for a

board position.

Please note that ECMAS is a volunteer organization that does not obtain any

money from the government.  We have almost no resources other than donations

and membership dues from our members.  Many non-custodial parents have been

ruined by the biased and often unfair family court system.

I sincerely hope that you do not go ahead with your story as I believe that

it will be very destructive to our society in Edmonton and destroy services

that we have worked hard to set up over the last few years.  I also believe

that the source for your story has less than honest with the "facts" and

with her motivation.

Best Regards,

Hello,

My deadline is looming. I'm hoping you will have a moment, soon, to answer

some of the questions I sent you previously.                         [Next]

You indicated, on Thursday, that your organization had not accepted Mr.

Adams' resignation. Has anything changed with respect to his relationship

with ECMAS Edmonton since then?

Also, has Mr. Christensen's relationship to ECMAS  Edmonton changed since

our last conversation?

Please let me know.

D.
