Dynamic Thermal Energy Conversion Laboratory

Research Interests : Composite materials, kinematic modelling, optical measurements, machine design


I've been brought onto the Dynamic Thermal Energy Conversion group as a solid mechanics focused engineer. I have industry experience in condition monitoring and thermo-fluid systems design and academic experience in fiber reinforced composite materials and optical measurement techniques.


A mobile flow loop designed to characterize the performance of an in-house designed sliding vane pump. The back pressure of the system can be set to vary the pumping conditions.
