Research Interests : Low Temperature Difference Stirling Engines, Thermo Fluids, Additive Manufacturing

The focus of my research was the optimization of a low temperature difference Stirling engine (LTDSE). Optimization was performed on a LTDSE called the EP-1 that operated with a thermal source of 95°C and a thermal sink of 2°C. The compression ratio, phase angle, power piston location, and heat exchanger locations were manipulated to maximize the shaft power.
